Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know the
status of things. Thank you for all your prayers and fasting. It
has given me the strength to endure this trial.
The surgeon that seems to be in charge of
me keeps saying "give it more time". They said that it could
take up to two and a half weeks for the bowel to disentangle itself from the
scar tissue. I had been putting out a lot of liquid from the stomach so
they wanted that to decrease also.
As of this morning, the doctor said he was
giving it more like 10 days to see a significant improvement. They will
start to consider surgery on Wednesday if things are progressing more.
Well, after I had talked to the surgeon and the team of doctors, I had a
bowel movement and urinated more than usual. My stomach is producing less
liquid also. I hope this means I am turning the corner.
Another surgery will just increase the
chances of this happening again in the future. I did realize that I had
not been as active as I should have been with walking and exercising. I
need to get a good exercise routine in place to keep everything in its proper
place and position. I will also have to be careful with how foods are
prepared when I eat them. I may have to do smaller portion sizes
throughout the day. We will see what they say.
Thanks again for all your love and
support. Thanks for all the visits, emails, and prayers.
