On Tuesday, I was back up at Huntsman for another round of stem cell collection. Everything went well. Angela was able to take me up. My sweet mother came Monday night so see could watch the kids. The collection process went well and Angela was able to go visit a friend while we waited for the collection to end.
I ended up harvesting as much on Tuesday as I had harvested in all three days in my first attempt at harvesting. Good news is that I have the minimum number of cells collected. However, because I donated so well, the asked that I come in today to donate again. I guess that the goal was to get 2-5 million stem cells. I have 2.5 million right now. It will not hurt to try to get more and may end up being a good thing down the road.
We are getting ready for our August trip to NYC. This will be a trial study. We are trying to all we can and trust that the Lord in his mercy will take care of the rest.
