Angela texted me and asked me to share.
Good News: This first lower abdominal surgery went well. Doug didn't lose much blood (something they were concerned about) and overall had a great response to the surgery.
Bad News: Doug's liver doesn't look right. The surgeon is worried that he might have cancer inside. Doug and Angela won't know for sure until next week when the results of the biopsies come in.

Praying for you Doug! You are such an inspiration.Sad I didn't get to wish you well before leaving work on Monday but just know I have been sending up lots of prayers for you & your family.
