Dear family and friends, I am so excited to share the results of the first scan since starting the new drug. I have only had two doses of the new drug so we weren't expecting anything special with the scan, just hoping for stability. Well, Dr. Slotkin called today and reported that not only did the drug provide stability for several tumors, it also showed shrinkage and less activity on others.
HOORAY!!
We are so pleased with these scan results. We are feeling very blessed. Heavenly Father has given us a tender mercy and hope for the future. We will keep the course and start cycle 3 on Monday.
Thank you all for your prayers and faith in my behalf. We have been so blessed. A HUGE "THANK YOU" to all those taking care of the kids and the house. We are so blessed to be able to stay in the hotel we are at. The doctors and nurses have been amazing. So much to be thankful for.

That is so so exciting. Indeed the Angels are standing near by watching out for you and your kids while you can't be with them during this short time. When you think about how much more time you will get to spend with them in the years ahead, this summer is but a very short time in your life. I am so happy for you and hope and pray that the Angels and our Savior continue to stay near by and support you both. Thank you for the update.
